No symmetric measures against Russian goods planned in Ukraine

“We are going to act under the World Trade Organization rules,” an official says

KIEV, August 06. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine will not adopt symmetric measures to limit access for Russian goods to the Ukrainian market, the Ukrainian government’s Commissioner for European Integration Valery Pyatnitsky said on Wednesday.

“We are going to act under the World Trade Organization rules,” he said.

Ukraine “will take a selective approach to imposing duties”, Pyatnitsky added. “Speaking of phytosanitary measures, we want safe products on our market” but “do not plan any radical measures such as embargo.
