Russian oil export revenue down more than 3%

Oil was mainly exported to the far abroad countries - $76.298 billion, 2.9% lower than a year before

MOSCOW, August 06. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian oil export dropped 3.5% over first six months of 2014 year-on-year to $81.068 billion, the Russian Federal Customs Service said on Wednesday.

Export in physical terms contracted 5.2% to 109.75 million tonnes against 115.75 million tonnes a year earlier.

Oil was mainly exported to the far abroad countries - $76.298 billion, 2.9% lower than a year before. Revenue from supplies to the CIS dipped 12.1% to $4.768 billion.

At the same time gas export revenue of Russian monopoly Gazprom increased 4.5% year-on-year to $33.508 billionover the first half-year of 2014, said the Russian Federal Customs Service.

In the reporting period, Gazprom boosted gas export 7% to 99.4 billion cubic metres.
