MOSCOW, August 01. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian gas giant Gazprom has received the first batch of pipes to lay the Sila Sibiri (Power of Siberia) pipeline, which will carry gas to China, on Friday, the company said.

The volume of the first batch amounted to 260 pipes weighting around 2,400 tonnes.

Gazprom plans to get more than 120,000 tonnes of pipes in 2014.
