MOSCOW, July 30. /ITAR-TASS/. The sanctions imposed by the U.S. government against Russia’s United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) on July 29 will be less harmful for the Russian offshore oil and gas projects than the European sectoral restrictions, USC CEO Alexei Rakhmanov said on Wednesday.
“The sectoral sanctions [imposed by the European Union] not only against the USC but against the whole oil and gas sector can have a greater impact than concrete sanctions announced by the U.S. government,” Rakhmanov said.
