MOSCOW, July 25. /ITAR-TASS/. The Roza Vetrov tour operator, one of leading in Russia, has announced it halts activities in connection with the impossibility to fulfill its obligations to tourists and partners. The travel company said this in a statement on its website.

Liability of the company was insured and the insurance sum (30 million rubles – $854 thousand) was enough to make up for its tourists' losses, Director General Irina Kryukova said.

The company has paid for part of the tours.

The travel company had contracts with two insurance companies, and both were ready to pay to tourists within the law-set period, the director said.
