Russia’s industrial output grows 0.4% YoY
MOSCOW, July 15. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s industrial output rose 0.4% on the year and fell 0.1% on the month in June, while the output adjusted for seasonal and calendar factors fell 0.7% in the month, the Federal State Statistics Service said Tuesday.
Russia’s industrial output rose 1.5% on the year in January-June and 1.8% in April-June.
The output of mineral resources rose 0.9% on the year in January-June; the indicator increased 0.8% on the year and fell 1.8% on the month in June.
The manufacturing industry output rose 2.6% on the year in January-June; it increased 0.3% on the year and grew 2.1% on the month in June.
The production and distribution of electric power, gas and water fell 2.6% on the year in January-June; it fell 0.8% on the year and 9.5% on the month in June.
The Economic Development Ministry expects the country’s industrial output to grow 1% in 2014.
