Russia’s consumer rights watchdog bans cheese imports from another Ukrainian dairy
The milk fat content and mass content of fat in the Monastyrsky cheese product did not correspond to what was written in the label, Rospotrebnadzor said
MOSCOW, July 12 /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s consumer rights protection authority, or Rospotrebnadzor, has banned imports of cheese made by yet another Ukrainian manufacturer - the Lozovsky Milk Factory. Rospotrebnadzor said in a release on Friday that it had exposed violations of consumer rights legislation at that factory.
Last week, Rospoterbnadzor banned imports of cheese made by Ukraine’s Milkyland dairy company.
“Rospotrebnadzor established that the milk fat content and mass content of fat in the Monastyrsky cheese product manufactured by the Lozovsky Milk Factory did not correspond to what was written in the label. Protein content and milk fat content in the Slivochny cheese product with vegetable fat did not correspond to information in the label,” Rospotrebnadzor said.
