Russia’s Lukoil Vice President buys $24 mln company shares

MOSCOW, July 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Valery Subbotin, vice president of Russian oil company Lukoil, has bought the company’s shares worth US $24 million over a month, increasing his stake to 0.014%, the company said in a statement on Friday.
Subbotin bought $11.6 million worth of shares on June 9, $6 million on June 17 and July 3 and $265,000 on Wednesday.
Vice President Sergei Malyukov also increased his stake in the company to 0.0042% paying 9.57 million roubles.
Major company shareholders are its President Vagit Alekperov with a 20.9% stake, Vice President Leonid Fedun with a 9.6% stake, while the company’s affiliate Lukoil Investment Cyprus holds 9.2% and IFD Capital owns about 8%.
