Russia’s consumer safety watchdog bans cheese imports from another Ukrainian company
Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor banned imports of dairy products manufactured by 13 Ukrainian companies over violations of Russian consumer rights protection laws
MOSCOW, July 04./ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s federal consumer safety protection authority (Rospotrebnadzor) has imposed a ban on imports of cheese made by yet another Ukrainian producer - Milkyland, according to a press release circulated on Friday.
Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor banned imports of dairy products manufactured by 13 Ukrainian companies over violations of Russian consumer rights protection laws.
“In line with the (quality) examination tests carried out last fall, all products from Ukraine have been graded as risky,” the watchdog said.
“We register a quality slump of (imported) products and are forced to state that the number of negative findings in regard to cheeses and other dairy products, as well as canned vegetables, keeps increasing,” an official said.
