Russia’s Rosneft inks cooperation deal with Yokogawa Electric
Rosneft also signed a memorandum of understanding with Mozambique’s Empresa Nacional Hidrocarbonetos
MOSCOW, June 16. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian state-owned oil giant Rosneft has signed cooperation agreements with PetroVietnam Oil Corporation, Japan’s Yokogawa Electric and Mozambique’s Empresa Nacional Hidrocarbonetos on Monday during the 21st World Petroleum Congress in Moscow.
Under the memorandum signed with PietroVietnam Oil Corporation and Russian state-owned oil company Zarubezhneft, the companies will consider cooperation in the exploration of blocks 125 and 126 in the Fukhan field on the Vietnamese shelf.
Rosneft signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Japan’s engineering company Yokogawa Electric Corporation under which Rosneft will on a tender basis consider Yokogawa as a vendor of automated process control systems for the company’s subsidiaries.
In its turn, Yokogawa guarantees the supply of cutting-edge process control and measurement systems, information technology and instruments as well as the provision of their implementation and further maintenance services.
Rosneft also signed a memorandum of understanding with Mozambique’s Empresa Nacional Hidrocarbonetos, under which the firms will look into areas of mutual interest and cooperation, including joint bidding in upcoming.
