Russian delegation to fly to Brussels for trilateral gas talks

MOSCOW, June 10. /ITAR-TASS/. A Russian delegation led by Energy Minister Alexander Novak will fly from Moscow to Brussels shortly for trilateral gas talks, a source in the delegation told ITAR-TASS on Tuesday, June 10.

The European Commission also confirmed the resumption of trilateral consultations between Russia, the European Union and Ukraine in Brussels on Tuesday.

The consultations are scheduled to begin at 19:00 GMT.

After the previous, fifth, round of consultations, Novak headed to Moscow to discuss the Russian delegation’s position with President Vladimir Putin. The minister will announce it during the consultations in Brussels.

The Ukrainian delegation led by Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan stayed in Brussels pending the next round of talks.
