Russia’s Gazprom inks deal to adjust gas price for Italy’s Eni

European consumers are entitled to ask Gazprom for price revisions each two years depending on market conditions

ST. PETERSBURG, May 23. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian gas giant Gazprom has revised the price of gas supplied for Italy’s Eni under an agreement signed by the companies Friday at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

European consumers are entitled to ask Gazprom for price revisions each two years depending on market conditions.

Gazprom earlier preliminarily agreed to cut gas prices for France’s GDF Suez and EconGas, a unit of Austria’s OMV.
