The biggest importers of Russian gas for the reporting period resulted Germany, Turkey and Italy
MOSCOW, May 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s gas export monopoly Gazprom has increased gas supplies to Europe by 2.6% to 42.74 billion cubic meters from January to March 2014, according to the company’s report released on Wednesday.
The results were calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS).
The world's largest gas producer said gas deliveries to Western Europe rose by 7% to 35 billion cubic meters. The biggest importers of Russian gas were Germany, Turkey and Italy.
Gas supplies to Central European countries decreased to 7.74 billion cubic meters in the first three months of the year from 8.98 billion cubic meters in the same year-ago period. The main importers in Central Europe were Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
