Russian natural gas transit to Europe via Ukraine has been reduced by about 9% (up to 12.2 billion cubic metres) in January-February 2014 as compared with the same period in 2013

KIEV, March 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian natural gas transit to Europe via Ukraine has been reduced by about 9% (up to 12.2 billion cubic metres) in January-February 2014 as compared with the same period in 2013, Ukrtransgaz’s press service told Itar-Tass.

In February 2014 “Ukrainian consumers were supplied 5.6 billion cubic metres of fuel (2% more than in February 2013), the press service said.

“Ukraine’s gas transport system functions reliably and fulfils all functions, including interrupted transportation of natural gas to consumers,” the press service said.
