KIEV, January 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine and Russia consider various ways to settle the debt of the company Naftogaz of Ukraine for the gas supplied by Russia, Ukrainian Vice-Premier Yuri Boiko told reporters on Friday.

Under consideration are various ways. In any case, there is understanding that the two countries, which have relations of strategic partnership, will find a way acceptable for both sides, the vice-premier said when asked whether a possibility to reschedule the debt was considered.

Earlier, Russia's Gazprom said the debt of Naftogaz amounted to about $2.7 billion, and the Ukrainian side was to repay it by January 25, this year.
