MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. Exports of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) to China surged by more than two times from 4.5 mln to 9.8 mln metric tons since 2021, according to the analytical report of the PORA expert center seen by TASS.

"Despite the toughening of sanctions, Russian LNG exports to China increased significantly," the report indicates. "Overall from 2021 to 2025, exports of Russian LNG to China moved upward by more than twofold, from 4.5 mln to 9.8 mln tons," the report reads.

Data of the Main Customs Administration of China are cited in the paper, according to which Russian LNG supplies to China increased by 1.5 mln metric tons or by 18.3% annually in 2025 and reached 9.8 mln metric tons.
