The Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Transport are to submit a report to the government by February 15, 2027, on the monitoring of main oil pipeline capacities and measures for their expansion, according to the action plan for the implementation of Russia's Energy Strategy by 2050.

"Monitoring the throughput capacities of main oil pipelines and the implementation of measures to expand oil pipelines, including in the direction of major sea and river ports," the document says.

The report will be prepared with the participation of the Russian oil pipeline operator Transneft. The document should be presented to the Cabinet by February 15, 2027, and subsequently on an annual basis until 2029.
