Gazprom sets new record for daily gas supplies to China via Power of Siberia pipeline

MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. On November 1, Gazprom set a new record for daily gas supplies to China via the Power of Siberia pipeline, the company announced.
Gazprom has reached an all-time high for daily gas supplies to China via the Power of Siberia pipeline. "A new record was set on November 1," the statement said.
The company noted that Russian gas supplies are being delivered under a long-term gas purchase and sale agreement between Gazprom and China’s CNPC.
Previously, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak stated that Russia would supply 39 bln cubic meters of gas to China this year via the Power of Siberia pipeline.
In 2025, Gazprom became the largest gas exporter to China. Supplies via the Power of Siberia pipeline reached 38.8 bln cubic meters, exceeding initial contractual obligations by 800 mln cubic meters.
Power of Siberia is the largest gas transmission system in eastern Russia, with an export capacity of 38 bln cubic meters of gas per year. The first pipeline shipments of Russian gas to China via the eastern route began in December 2019, under a 30-year contract signed in 2014 between Gazprom and China’s CNPC. The total volume of supplies over the entire term will exceed 1 trillion cubic meters of gas, with a contract value of $400 bln.
