Russian manufacturing industries PMI grew to 49.9 points in October
"The latest reading was only fractionally below the 50.0 no-change mark and signaled broadly unchanged operating conditions for firms," S&P Global said
MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. The Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) of Russian manufacturing industries increased from 49.8 points in September to 49.9 points in October 2026, S&P Global says in its research.
"The latest reading was only fractionally below the 50.0 no-change mark and signaled broadly unchanged operating conditions for firms," the company said.
"Despite some tentative signs of improvement in October which meant that new business fell only marginally, new orders still decreased for the third consecutive month amid reports of competitive pressures, muted demand and reduced purchasing power at customers. New export orders continued to weigh on total new business, falling rapidly and to the largest extent since May 2022," the research firm added.
