Ukraine faces complicated situation with power supplies, says Zelensky
He reported about strikes delivered against thermal power plants in Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov
MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/. A complicated situation emerged regarding the regional power supplies across Ukraine due to earlier sustained damages, Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky stated on Saturday.
Zelensky reported on his Telegram channel on strikes delivered against thermal power plants in Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov. He also reported damage to four electrical substations in the Dnepropetrovsk Region.
"The situation with power supplies in our regions is difficult. About 200,000 families in Dnepropetrovsk and the region are without electricity. More than 80,000 families in the Kiev region are without the electricity power supplies," according to Zelensky.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced earlier that it landed strikes on Ukraine’s logistics and energy infrastructure facilities, which had been employed to support the needs of the Ukraine’s military-industrial complex.
