MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. Russia has established its own chain for production of oil refinery equipment and is prepared to share its expertise with other countries regarding the restoration of such facilities, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.

"For various reasons, we now have extensive experience not only with routine, scheduled maintenance, but also in handling situations with core equipment taken out of service. Therefore, our enterprises are currently working very quickly to restore oil refinery units that had gone out of service. We are prepared to provide support, including through technologies and equipment," told reporters on the sidelines of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) summit.

Virtually the entire range of oil and gas equipment, especially that required for oil refineries, is manufactured in Russia now, Novak said. "Therefore, should such assistance be needed, our specialists can provide it," he said when asked whether Russia possesses the expertise required to restore oil refineries in countries on the Arabian Peninsula.

Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov said earlier that Russia had offered assistance to countries on the Arabian Peninsula in restoring their damaged oil refineries.
