LNG worldwide consumption grows by 1-2% per in average

ISTANBUL, October 22. /TASS/. The global trade in the liquefied natural gas segment is growing at a pace of 4% per year, Novatek CEO Leonid Mikhelson said at the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum.

"Natural gas currently makes up a quarter of the global energy balance. Its worldwide consumption grows by 1-2% per in average and the trade in the liquefied gas segment is growing much quicker - somewhat about plus 4% annually," Mikhelson said.
