MOSCOW, October 17. /TASS/. This year, Russia will deliver 39 billion cubic meters of gas via the Power of Siberia pipeline, exceeding the volume stipulated by the main contract, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.

"First of all, I’d like to say that our first project, Power of Siberia, has been implemented very successfully. Its capacity is 38 billion cubic meters of gas, but we expect to deliver 39 billion cubic meters this year, which is even more than under the main contract," he said in an interview to Marina Kim on the Soloviev Live television.

"There is also an agreement to expand deliveries to 44 billion cubic meters of gas," Novak added.
