Russia’s MOEX and RTS indices added 0.54% to 2,399.76 and 902.55 points, respectively, as the main trading session started on Friday, according to trading data as of 9:00 a.m. Moscow time (6:00 a.m. GMT). The yuan exchange rate against the ruble gained 2.75 kopecks compared to previous closing to 12.51 rubles.

As of 9:16 a.m. Moscow time (6:16 a.m. GMT), the indices were up by 0.47% at 2,397.97 and 901.88 points, respectively. Meanwhile the yuan exchange rate was up by 2.9 kopeck at 12.511 rubles.

The MOEX Index added 0.42% as morning trading session started on the Moscow Exchange as of 7:00 a.m. Moscow time (4:00 a.m. GMT) to 2,396.79 points.
