MOSCOW, October 8. /TASS/. Sberbank CEO Herman Gref urged financial market participants to exercise caution when entrusting their capital to artificial intelligence and not to shift responsibility for final decisions onto algorithms.

Gref compared the role of an AI agent to that of a navigator in an aircraft cockpit, with the investor acting as the pilot in command. "The navigator suggests various options, but the final decision always rests with the pilot in command. So please, keep your hands on the controls," he said at the Present Future investment forum.

According to the Sberbank CEO, at the current stage of technological development, artificial intelligence still requires a deliberate approach from humans and strict oversight of decision-making.

Gref also wished investors high returns next year and expressed hope that the Russian market could become the fastest-growing among all BRICS member countries.
