MOSCOW, October 5. /TASS/. The Russian stock market is rising at the start of the main trading session, according to Moscow Exchange data. The yuan exchange rate is also rising.

At the opening of the main trading session, the MOEX and RTS indices rose by 0.6% to 2,293.56 and 865.46 points, respectively, according to trading data as of 9:00 a.m. Moscow time. The yuan rose by 4.3 kopecks from the previous session’s closing level to 12.54 rubles at the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange.

By 9:20 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX index had accelerated its growth to 2,294.65 points (+0.65%), while the RTS index stood at 865.87 points (+0.65%). Meanwhile, the yuan rose by 8.75 kopecks to 12.58 rubles.
