Russia’s national project spending to total $75.56 bln in 2027

The Russian government’s press service previously noted that the draft budget earmarks around $227.87 bln for national project measures over three years

MOSCOW, October 2. /TASS/. Budget allocations for the implementation of national projects in Russia are planned at 6.3 trillion rubles ($75.56 bln) in 2027, 6.5 trillion rubles ($77.96 bln) in 2028, and 6.3 trillion rubles ($75.56 bln) in 2029, according to the explanatory note to the draft federal budget for 2027-2029. The document has been posted in the electronic database of the lower house of parliament.

"Budget allocations for financing the implementation of national projects as a whole are planned at 6,324,364.7 mln rubles in 2027, 6,545,494.8 mln rubles in 2028, and 6,319,584.4 mln rubles in 2029," the document said.

The Russian government’s press service previously noted that the draft budget earmarks around 19 trillion rubles ($227.87 bln) for national project measures over three years.

On September 30, the Russian government submitted the draft federal budget for 2026 and the planning period of 2027-2028 to the State Duma for consideration.
