MOSCOW, October 2. /TASS/. The Russian stock market is showing a decline at the start of the main trading session on Friday, according to Moscow Exchange data. The yuan exchange rate is rising.

At the opening of the main trading session, the MOEX and RTS indices rose by 0.01%, standing at 2,280.06 and 862.83 points, respectively, based on trading data as of 09:00 Moscow time. The yuan rose by 2.05 kopecks, reaching 12.434 rubles.

By 09:30 Moscow time, the MOEX index had shifted to a decline, falling to 2,275.67 points (-0.18%), while the RTS index stood at 861.17 points (-0.18%). Meanwhile, the yuan exchange rate rose by 1.55 kopecks to 12.429 rubles.
