MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. The Bank of Russia believes in the base-case scenario that the fuel market situation will normalize by the end of this year and the stable inflation will start going down again, the regulator said in its draft Monetary Policy Guidelines for 2027-2029.
"The Bank of Russia assumes in the base-case scenario that the situation in the fuel market will normalize by the end of 2026; its impact on prices of other goods and services will be limited and the stable inflation will start declining again," the regulator said.
The Central Bank said earlier that it updated draft guidelines with consideration of new budget projections presented at the government meeting on September 24 for the next three years.
