Almost 37,000 new IT companies emerge in Russia in 1H 2026 — PM

More than 200 technoparks and clusters have been opened in Russia and another 100 are planned to be opened in the next four years
MOSCOW, September 29. /TASS/. Around 37,000 new IT companies appeared in Russia in the first half of 2026, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.
"Almost 37,000 new IT companies emerged in the first half of this year. Now is a time of opportunity for tech entrepreneurs," he said in a video address to participants of the second Moscow Startup Summit.
New technoparks and clusters are opening in Russia, providing startup founders with everything necessary for their work, the premier noted. More than 200 such platforms have been launched by now, and plans are to open another 100 in the next four years, he added.
