Russia’s MOEX and RTS indices were flat at 2,273.98 and 849.35 points, respectively, as the main trading session started on Monday, according to trading data as of 9:00 a.m. Moscow time (6:00 a.m. GMT). The yuan exchange rate against the ruble lost 1.8 kopecks compared to previous closing to 12.492 rubles.

By 9:16 a.m. Moscow time (6:16 a.m. GMT), the indices had moved to negative territory reaching 2,266.95 (-0.3%) and 846.73 (-0.3%) points. Meanwhile the yuan exchange rate was down by 0.5 kopecks at 12.505 rubles.

The MOEX Index with additional IMOEX2 ticker grew by 0.38% as morning trading session started on the Moscow Exchange as of 7:00 a.m. Moscow time (4:00 a.m. GMT) to 2,282.6 points.
