SOCHI, September 25. /TASS/. Electricity consumption in the Russian united energy system declined by 0.2% year to date, CEO of the System Operator company Fyodor Opadchiy told reporters on the sidelines of the 12th Conference of the Market Council Nonprofit Partnership Association.

"We continue moving the same way from the year start, minus 0.2%," he said.

Electricity consumption this year may be lower than in 2025, Opadchiy told TASS earlier. In 2025, electric power consumption dropped by 0.8% to 1.161 trillion kWh.
