Russian authorities intend to keep inflation close to 4% in three coming years — PM

The gross domestic product will grow by 1.4% in 2027 and will further accelerate to 2.4% in 2029, Mikhail Mishustin noted

MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. The key objective of the Russian monetary policy for the next three years will be to keep inflation near 4%, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at the Cabinet meeting.

"Draft guidelines of the unified state monetary policy for the coming three years is on the agenda today. Its main goal will remain as keeping inflation close to 4%," he said.

The gross domestic product (GDP) will grow by 1.4% in 2027 and will further accelerate to 2.4% in 2029, the prime minister noted.

"The GDP will increase by 1.4% next year," Mishustin said. "Dynamics will gradually accelerate further on, to 2.4% in 2029," he added.
