MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. Annual inflation in Russia stood at 6.22% as of September 21, according to a price situation review prepared by the Economic Development Ministry.

"Inflation stood at 0.06% for the week of September 15-21, 2026. Food prices shifted by 0.09%, with deflation in the fruit and vegetable sector accelerating to -1.57%, while other food items saw a 0.24% increase. In the non-food sector, price growth slowed to 0.04%, while the monitored services sector showed near-zero dynamics. Annual inflation as of September 21 stood at 6.22%," the review noted.
