MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. Russia’s exports of agricultural products to Malaysia climbed five-fold in volume terms and 5.5-fold in value terms to around 8,800 tons worth over $9 mln in January-August 2026, the Agroexport federal center reported.

"According to experts’ estimates, Russia delivered around 8,800 tons of agricultural products to Malaysia worth more than $9 mln in the first eight months of 2026. Compared to the same period last year, exports increased five-fold in volume and 5.5-fold in value," the report said.

The top three agricultural products by value in the reporting period included rapeseed oil (roughly $5.9 mln), other agricultural goods (around $1.8 mln), and soybean oil (about $1.5 mln).

In 2025, Russia exported 3,100 tons of products worth $3.1 mln to Malaysia, according to the report.
