MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. The Power of Siberia and Power of Baikal projects for gas exports to China are being actively advanced, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said, adding that construction of the Far Eastern route is underway.

"Russia and China have long developed robust energy cooperation that is becoming increasingly stronger each year. We firmly remain first in terms of oil and natural gas supplies to China, and we are among the leading suppliers of coal and LNG. The Power of Siberia gas pipeline is operating at full capacity. The Power of Baikal project, which is set to become one of the largest gas arteries in history, is being carried out. Construction is underway on the Far Eastern route for exporting natural gas to China," he said in an interview with News.ru portal.
