MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. PhosAgro’s agrochemical output eased by roughly 1.4% year-on-year to 6 million tonnes in the first half of 2026, according to the company's financial report. Total agrochemical sales dipped by 1.9% to 6.1 million tonnes, while supplies to the domestic market surged by nearly 30%.

"Shipments to the priority Russian market rose by more than 330,000 tonnes during this period, up nearly 30% compared to the same period last year," the report stated.

The company also reported a nearly threefold jump in fertilizer sales to African markets compared to H1 2025, driven by production cost advantages and logistical flexibility.

"The decline in shipments to Brazil and Argentina in the first half of 2026 was largely offset by increased sales to other Latin American nations, supported by steady effective demand and high netback prices. Shipments to this region grew by nearly 50% year-on-year," the document said.

Output of complex NPK phosphate fertilizers rose by 15.6% in the first half of the year following the completion of upgrades at the Balakovo production facility and increased manufacturing of phosphoric and sulfuric acids.
