MOSCOW, September 9. /TASS/. The US Department of Energy has sharply raised its forecast for the average price of Brent crude oil in 2026 by 4.84% to $91.01 from $86.81 per barrel, according to a report by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

The price of Brent crude is expected to average $73.74 per barrel in 2027, declining as global oil production rises and inventories recover.
