MOSCOW, September 9. /TASS/. Gas prices in Europe exceeded $950 per 1,000 cubic meters during trading on Wednesday for the first time since December 2022, according to data from the London-based ICE exchange.
The price of the October futures contract at the TTF hub in the Netherlands rose to about $950.3 per 1,000 cubic meters, or 78.925 euros per MWh.
Gas prices in Europe are rising amid record-low storage levels ahead of the upcoming winter and the continuing conflict in the Middle East.
