MOSCOW, September 1. /TASS/. The Bank of Russia purchased 5.9 bln rubles ($68.09 mln) worth of yuan on the domestic market with settlement on August 31, 2026, according to data published on the regulator's website.

Foreign currency purchases on the domestic market with settlement on August 28 totaled 6 bln rubles ($69.24 mln).

The Bank of Russia conducts foreign currency purchases and sales on the domestic market through the yuan-ruble instrument in the currency section of the Moscow Exchange.
