Price of Brent oil surpasses $85 per barrel on London’s ICE first since August 4

MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. The price of futures contracts of Brent crude oil for October 2026 delivery has exceeded $85 per barrel on London’s ICE for the first time since August 4, 2026, according to trade data.
As of 1:54 p.m. Moscow time (10:54 a.m. GMT), the Brent price was up by 1.9% at $85.14 a barrel.
As of 2:21 p.m. Moscow time (11:21 a.m. GMT), the price of Brent was up by 1.36% at $84.69 per barrel. Meanwhile the price of futures contracts of WTI crude oil for September 2026 delivery was up by 1.45% at $79.31 per barrel.
