MOSCOW, August 6. /TASS/. Plans are in place to sign 380 agreements worth 6.5 trillion rubles ($79.9 bln) at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) this year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev said.

"For 2026, we have set a goal of signing a larger number of agreements of 380 worth 6.5 trillion rubles," he said at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

Last year the forum helped attract 6.1 trillion rubles in investment, the official added. "Some of the projects are already being implemented, such as the Milkansky Mining and Processing Plant, the Nakhodka Fertilizer Plant, and the PolideCastri Oil Refinery," he said.

The Eastern Economic Forum will be held September 1-4 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The main theme of this year’s EEF is "The Far East: Development for the Benefit of People." The event is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Russian government.
