As of 4.01 a.m. Moscow time (1:01 a.m. GMT), the gold price was up by 4.2% at $4,361.72 per troy ounce. By 5.05 a.m. Moscow time (2:05 a.m. GMT), the price of gold had extended gains to 4.19% as it traded at $4,361.1 per ounce.
