According to Mikhail Mishustin, the contribution of tourism and the hospitality industry to Russia's GDP has been increasing over recent years, exceeding 3% by the end of 2025

GORNO-ALTAISK, August 4. /TASS/. The share of tourism in Russia's GDP should increase to at least 5% by 2030, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a tourism development meeting.

"The contribution of tourism and the hospitality industry to GDP has been increasing over recent years, exceeding 3% by the end of last year," Mishustin said. "By 2030, it should reach at least 5%. This is the target set by the president.".
