MOSCOW, July 29. /TASS/. Russia increased its exports of fish and seafood to China by 14% year-on-year in volume terms and by 52% in value terms in the first half of 2026, to 723,000 metric tons worth nearly $2.33 bln, the Fish Union said.

"Russia’s exports of fish and seafood to China in January-June 2026 rose by 14% year-on-year in volume terms and 52% in value terms, reaching 723,000 metric tons worth nearly $2.33 bln, according to calculations by the Fish Union’s Analytical Center based on data from China’s General Administration of Customs," the organization said.

Exports of frozen headed and gutted pollock increased by 25% in volume terms and 70% in value terms, to 402,000 metric tons worth $699 mln. Exports of frozen pollock fillets also rose by 25% in volume terms and 55% in value terms, to 4,000 metric tons worth $12 mln.

Exports of frozen headed and gutted cod also increased by 35% year-on-year in volume terms and doubled in value terms, reaching 50,000 metric tons worth $396 mln. Haddock exports rose 30% in value terms to $76 mln, while shipments totaled 11,500 metric tons.

Supplies of live crabs increased by 20% in volume terms and 30% in value terms, to 22,000 metric tons worth $620 mln. Exports of frozen crabs rose by 45% in volume terms and 20% in value terms, reaching 3,500 metric tons worth $77 mln.
