MOSCOW, July 3. /TASS/. IPhone sales in the Russian market fell 7% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, classifieds platform Avito reported to TASS.

According to statistics, iPhones cost Russians on average 67,000 rubles ($860) in new condition, which is 13% lower compared with January-March 2026, while remaining at the level of Q2 2025. The price of second-hand iPhones fell 5% quarter-on-quarter to 27,000 rubles ($346) and declined by 2% year-on-year.
The share of Apple smartphones sold between April and June stood at 64% in the new-device segment and 65% in the resale market. This indicates consistent demand regardless of model, emphasized Evgeniya Odintsova, head of the Electronics and Home Appliances business unit at Avito.
In the segment of new smartphone brands, Chinese brand OnePlus (owned by Oppo) recorded a strong 87% year-on-year increase in sales. Vivo and Honor also expanded their market presence, with both brands posting around 14% growth in Q2. In terms of overall share on Avito, Apple leads with 64%, followed by South Korea’s Samsung at 14%. Xiaomi ranks third with 7%, while Honor and OnePlus account for 2% each respectively.
Overall smartphone prices in Russia trended downward in Q2 2026 compared to the previous quarter. The decline was more pronounced in the brand-new segment, where the average price plummeted 11% to 56,000 rubles ($719). Prices for pre-owned devices saw a more modest 5% drop, ending the second quarter at 23,000 rubles ($295).
