Gazprom has been pursuing a policy of strict cost control for some time now, Deputy Chairman of the holding Famil Sadygov added

MOSCOW, June 26. /TASS/. Rising oil and gas prices driven by the Middle East conflict will have a positive impact on Gazprom’s revenues, Deputy Chairman of the holding Famil Sadygov said.

"I must also highlight the impact of events in the Middle East on our revenue. Hydrocarbon prices have risen significantly since this spring. The price of gas at the TTF hub has increased by 60%, while the price of Brent crude has risen by more than 73%. These factors will, of course, have a positive effect on the revenues of both the gas and oil segments of Gazprom Group," he said at the company’s annual shareholders meeting.

Gazprom has been pursuing a policy of strict cost control for some time now, Sadygov added. "I believe this will also make a significant contribution to increasing Gazprom Group’s net profit," he said.
