Russian deputy PM Novak to hold meeting on fuel market, diesel export ban to be discussed

MOSCOW, June 26. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak will hold a meeting on the fuel market situation later in the day where, among other things, the possibility of banning diesel exports for producers will be considered, the official told TASS.
"We will review this at the headquarters meeting today," he said when asked about the ban on diesel fuel exports.
Novak said at Russian President Vladimir Putin's meeting with government members earlier that the authorities were considering the possibility of imposing a complete ban on diesel fuel exports.
In early June, the Russian government imposed a temporary ban on the export of aviation kerosene, which will remain in effect until November 30, 2026. The measure aims to ensure stability in the domestic fuel market.
