Kalashnikov to start selling the Karakurt drone to India

MOSCOW, June 25. /TASS/. Kalashnikov will supply Karakurt civilian quadcopters to India, the company’s press service told TASS.

"Kalashnikov has signed a contract for the supply of Karakurt civilian copter-type UAVs to an Indian partner. In accordance with the document signed as part of the 10th India Homeland Security Expo, the holding will deliver a batch of Karakurt UAVs to the customer by the end of 2026," the press service informed.

Negotiations are underway to organize licensed production of Karakurt in India for subsequent sale to the end users, the company added.

"There is a lot of interest in Karakurt in India primarily on the part of police units," the press service said, citing Maxim Karavaev, the business development director in India. The drone was tested in the Special Military Operation area and received positive feedback, he added.
