MOSCOW, June 15. /TASS/. Russia ranked second after the United States in terms of the price of liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies to the European Union with the share of 16.4% as of the end of April, according to TASS estimates based on Eurostat data.

The EU purchased LNG from Russia for about 705 million euro, which is 35% more than in the same month last year.

The United States with the supply of its LNG took first place – 61% and 2.6 billion euro.

In total, Europe purchased LNG from Russia for 2.8 billion euro in January-April 2026.
